Round Rock firefighters are back in Texas after traveling to California to help battle wildfires devastating the state.

Firefighters were sent from Austin, Hutto, Kyle, Round Rock and other cities. They're expected to stay for about 21 days.

Garzarek became deputy chief of operations with the Round Rock, TX, Fire Department in 2001 and served as interim fire chief before accepting the fire chief's position in Franklin in 2004.
