ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) -- Roanoke City police are investigating a shooting near the Valley View Mall and Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill. Police say it happened around the restaurant's parking lot.

Several gunshots were fired in the parking lot of Smokey Bones at Valley View on Saturday morning after an altercation inside the restaurant, according to a Roanoke police press release.
