The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is increasing patrols statewide starting Monday, May 12 as part of its annual All-American enforcement campaign ahead of the Memorial Day Holiday.

In January of last year, DPS officials also dedicated a 10-mile stretch of I-35, from mile marker 342 to mile marker 352, as the Trooper Richard Cottle Highway.
