Waukee turned the key and opened the door on a new brand identity this week. The city officially retired its 42-year-old purple and gold key-themed logo and unveiled a new multi-colored emblem.

The Waukee school district officially has a mascot once again. Last week the school board approved a new 12-page mascot and activity logos style guide that puts a face to the Warriors name.
