AAP leader Atishi is expected to be sworn in as Delhi Chief Minister on Saturday evening, following Arvind Kejriwal's resignation.

Atishi will become the third woman to hold the position of Chief Minister of Delhi, following in the footsteps of Sushma Swaraj (BJP) and Sheila Dikshit (Congress).

New Delhi: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday reacted to the AAP's decision to appoint Atishi as the new Chief Minister of the national capital, saying that the public of Delhi is very troubled by the AAP government and that there is a strong desire among the public to oust the AAP from power.

AAP MLA Mukesh Ahlawat will be the new face in the Delhi Cabinet headed by Atishi, who will be sworn in as chief minister on September 21, and four ministers will be retained, the party said on Thursday.
