ATLANTA — Storms swept across metro Atlanta and north Georgia during the early Sunday morning hours, causing a tornado warning at one point as well as multiple severe thunderstorm warnings. In the aftermath, there are several road hazards of note across the metro area.

ATLANTA — A Weather Impact Alert has been issued for overnight Saturday into early Sunday as we track heavy rain and thunderstorms. Storms may be capable of producing gusty winds, frequent lightning, and hail. A brief spin-up can't be ruled out, but the overall tornado threat is very low.
