Boston Mayor Michelle Wu responded to reporters’ questions about comments made by the Trump administration’s ‘Border Czar’ Tom Homan on Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox.

"Take that badge off your chest, put it in the desk drawer because you became a politician, you forgot what it was like to be a cop.”

Mayor Michelle Wu responded on social media that Boston follows the law and said she supports the police commissioner. Wu is slated to testify before a congressional panel next month on Boston's handling of immigrants.
