No team has taken advantage of the tush push quite like the Philadelphia Eagles under coach Nick Sirianni and QB Jalen Hurts.

In the early portions of Sunday’s Super Bowl, Chiefs perennial All-Pro pass-rusher Chris Jones showed us just how taxing it is to even oppose the Eagles on their signature play. After Philadelphia unsurprisingly pushed Hurts across the goal line to take a 7-0 lead, Jones was seen wincing in pain over a neck massage.

The Eagles ran the quarterback sneak out of variations of that singleback look until Week 5. That week, they ran six sneaks against the Arizona Cardinals. The formation de jour was a three-man I-formation in which the first back served as Hurts' pusher. The Eagles converted five of six sneaks for first downs, including two touchdowns.

Jalen Hurts led the NFL with 28 first downs on 34 QB sneaks. To stop the tush push, the Chiefs will have to play with great leverage and timing like they did vs. Buffalo.
