Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston posted the fastest 40-yard dash so far this week, 4.28 seconds, on the second day of workouts at the NFL's annual scouting combine in Indianapolis. He had the first time under 4.

Hairston, a three-star recruit coming out of West Bloomfield, was a team captain for the Wildcats in 2024 and was named Second-Team All-SEC.

Receiver Matthew Golden of Texas recorded the fastest 40-yard dash time on the third day of workouts at the NFL’s annual scouting combine, finishing in 4.29 seconds. It was the second-fastest time this week in Indianapolis.
