Detroit Red Wings head coach Todd McLellan announced the team's latest decision involving star Patrick Kane, handing bad news to Dylan Larkin and the rest of the locker room.

Patrick Kane has been listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury and will be out for the Red Wings' matchup against the Montreal Canadiens, head coach Todd McLellan announced Thursday. McLellan noted that Kane's injury occurred in the team's 4-1 loss to the Dallas Stars on Jan. 19.
