The Philadelphia Eagles are heading to their second Super Bowl in three seasons, and offensive coordinator Kellen Moore could be the next head coach of the New Orleans Saints. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network said the Saints plan to interview Moore for the head coaching position on Monday.
Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore was said to ‘covet’ the Dallas Cowboys job but the opening was filled by Brian Schottenheimer.
Moore led the Eagles offense during a historic outing on Sunday in the NFC championship game against the Washington Commanders. Philadelphia racked up 459 yards of offense en route to a 55-23 victory. With the win, the Eagles will play in the Super Bowl on Feb. 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs or Buffalo Bills.
New Orleans Saints leaders will fly to Philadelphia this week to meet with Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore about the head coaching position with the Black & Gold, per a report from NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
The Philadelphia Eagles were the one team finally able to stop the red-hot Washington Commanders. The Eagles cruised to a dominant 55-23 win over Washington and secured their second Super Bowl appearance since 2022.
The Eagles are heading to Super Bowl LIX. This game was close for a little while but eventually the Eagles pulled away big-time to beat the Commanders 55-23 in the NFC Championship Game. That’s the second-most points the Eagles have ever scored in a playoff game.
Kellen Moore is critical to what Philly is doing now in its Super Bowl push while also being seen as a finalist to return to the Dallas Cowboys as a head coach.

The search continues for the next head coach of the New Orleans Saints, and the NFC Championship gave everyone involved a bit of an update. The Philadelphia Eagles are headed to the Super Bowl, and one of their assistants remains an option for New Orleans.
