Chicago PD was set to air a new episode tonight, Wednesday, Jan. 15. That's no longer happening, and here's why.

This week's new episode (Season 12 Episode 9) is titled "Friends and Family." According to an episodic description, it will focus heavily on Officer Cook (Toya Turner) as she "turns to her family when Intelligence faces administrative roadblocks that threaten a kidnapping investigation."

Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 10 of Chicago PD’s current season 12 is scheduled to finally make it to your TV sets next Wednesday night, January 22, 2025 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot.
