EA says it is shutting down the Origin PC client, forcing users to move to the EA App which doesn't support 32-bit Windows software.

For instance, The Sims 3 and The Sims 4—along with their numerous expansions—were originally launched on Origin. The EA App, on the other hand, only became publicly available toward the end of 2022.
