An off-duty Osceola County deputy faces an internal investigation after being charged with a DUI crash into a Florida Highway Patrol car earlier this week — even as his case was dropped hours later.

Troopers said Perkins did not remember the crash or the fact that the car he allegedly hit had blue lights on.

Osceola reportedly had a laceration to his right ear and “there were various signs of a disturbance inside the residence including a broken glass on the floor,” the arrest report states.
