(WILX) -Michigan Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks (D-Grand Rapids) says the Michigan Senate has filed a lawsuit against Republican Speaker of the House Matt hall. Brinks says that he has violated the states constitution.

Senate Leader Winnie Brinks and the Democrat-controlled Senate labeled the case an "urgent state constitutional matter."
