The vampire-slaying classic that defined a generation is back, and this isn’t just another reboot. Sarah Michelle Gellar is returning

Hulu is developing a sequel to "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" with Sarah Michelle Gellar reprising her role as Buffy Summers.

Such a thing may be possible once again, as multiple outlets are reporting that Hulu has a “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” reboot in the works. And Gellar is reportedly attached to recur on the new show, which would reportedly focus on a new, younger slayer, with Gellar in more of a supporting role.
