Brandon Rolax was found near the scene of an East Hartford bank robbery, with cash from the bank and the note he had handed the teller, police say.

EAST HARTFORD — East Hartford police arrested a man who they say robbed a Chase Bank branch earlier this month. Brandon Rolax was charged with first-degree threatening with hazard to terrorize, first-degree robbery, third-degree larceny and carrying a dangerous weapon, judicial records show.

Officers responded to a robbery at a Chase Bank on Feb. 18, according to the East Hartford Police Department. The male suspect fled the scene before dispatch received the call. Police quickly released a description of the suspect and his direction of travel.
