A pro-Palestinian student protester at Columbia University, who is in the country on a green card visa, sued the Trump administration to stop federal immigration authorities from deporting her. After the State Department revoked Yunseo Chung’s student visa and permanent residency status earlier this month,

Yunseo Chung, a legal permanent resident who has lived in the U.S. since she was 7, participated in pro-Palestinian demonstrations. Immigration agents visited residences looking for her.

Another Columbia University student said Monday that the Trump administration has targeted her for deportation over her pro-Palestinian views, accusing immigration officials in a lawsuit of employing the same tactics used on Mahmoud Khalil and other college activists.
