The Las Vegas Raiders players and fans wanted Antonio Pierce back after he ended last season as the interim coach. Team owner Mark Davis listened and and now, Davis is looking for the sixth full-time head coach in just over 13 years since he took over the team and his third in three years.

Pierce held his final meeting with the team Monday and spoke as if he's returning, though owner Mark Davis has yet to clarify.

It seemed very possible that when Antonio Pierce took to the podium Sunday night after the Raiders lost their 13th game of the season to the Los Angeles Chargers, that it could be the last time he appeared before the media as Raiders head coach.
