A group of Indian students staged a protest outside the Oxford Union in the United Kingdom on Thursday. The protest was against a debate organized by the union on the topic, "This House Believes in the Independent State of Kashmir.

They stated that Muzzammil Ayyub Thakur had been accused of incitement and hate speech, with links to organisations under investigation for connections to terrorism

On Thursday, INSIGHT UK issued a formal letter to the Oxford Union Society, questioning its decision to host the debate titled "This House Believes in the Independent State of Kashmir".
