President Donald Trump may have delayed most – though not all – of the tariffs he had imposed on Canada and Mexico, but that hasn’t stopped America’s northern neighbors from responding forcefully in retaliation.

President Donald Trump said he will double the tariffs imposed on steel and aluminum imported from Canada after the province of Ontario announced surcharges on electricity going into New York, Minnesota and Michigan.

Ontario’s premier said the tariff would remain in place despite the one-month reprieve from President Trump, noting a one-month pause means nothing but more uncertainty.
