HBO Max's Pretty Little Liars reboot has been cancelled after two seasons. Set in the blue-collar town of Millwood, the reboot of the 2010 series follows a group of teenage girls who are being targeted by an unknown attacker wanting revenge for their parents' sins.

The Pretty Little Liars revamp scored a straight-to-series order at what was then called HBO Max in September 2020. The series, whose first season was titled Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, premiered on July 28, 2022 and earned a season two renewal shortly after its finale.

This isn't a lie and it's not pretty — the latest "Pretty Little Liars" reboot will not be returning for Season 3 at Max. After premiering as "PLL: Original Sin" in July 2022, the series rebranded as "PLL: Summer School" for this past May's second season.
