ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Roughly 30 people have been displaced after a fire broke out in a vacant parking lot in Allentown, Lehigh County. Crews responded to the unit block of North 3rd Street at 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Drone 6 was over the scene of a fire that damaged two homes.
30 people, 5 pets displaced after fire damages six homes in Allentown
Rosa and his family were among the group of people forced out of their homes. "There was a total of about 30 people displaced and about 5 pets," said Allentown Fire Marshal Jon Steed. An RV parked in the alleyway was melted beyond recognition. The heat from flames, fire officials say, may have caused propane tanks stored there to explode.
