During their investigation, homicide detectives learned that 4-year-old Seraphine Gingles was taken from the home. Florida authorities issued an Amber Alert just after 10 a.m. under the belief that Seraphine was kidnapped by her father, 43-year-old Nathan Gingles.

The child's father is suspected of kidnapping her and killing her mom, grandpa and one other person, police say.

On Tuesday, the man accused of carrying out the killings, Nathan Gingles, appeared in bond court. Gingles remained calm in front of the judge, who ordered him held without bond on murder charges. He was also given a $2 million bond on additional charges,
