The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), which manages the Tirupati temple, has taken action against 18 non-Hindu employees.
CM Naidu had earlier reiterated his commitment to maintaining Tirumala as a symbol of Hindu faith and sanctity.
The order also directs TTD’s chief engineer and deputy executive officer to ensure that the 18 people are not posted to any place in Tirumala; any temple; and any religious programme-related work.
