The school will first offer ninth through eleventh grades. It’s expected to be home to more than 2,500 students.

Students in Greene County now have free rides to and from the County's career center in thanks to a grant from Alabama power and the West Alabama action group.

The maximum capacity for each shelter is 25 people but county officials are prepared to adjust if the need arises.
