The college football season is still many months away, but it’s always interesting to see projections for what Notre Dame football could look like in the fall. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, it could be another very good year for the Irish.

That was the last time Rochell was on a roster, as on Sunday evening he officially retired from the NFL. He finishes with 114 tackles, 9.5 sacks and an interception over the course of 7 seasons. It remains to be seen what Rochell will do now that he no longer will play football, but we all know whatever he chooses, he’ll do great at.

Much of the luster of the first Wednesday in February has been lost with the addition of the early signing period in December, as the Irish signed 24 commits while also taking 8 transfers. With some much player movement already, and not many 2025 uncommitted recruits being linked to Notre Dame, we shouldn’t expect much from this signing period.
