The Pasadena Convention Center, which held nearly 1,500 evacuees at its peak, is set to close by Saturday. Evacuees are concerned about relocation.

Red Cross says no closing date has been set, but a new location is being sought near Altadena. The shelter housed as many as 1,140 people at its peak period during the Eaton fire.

So many animals have been displaced by the Eaton Fire, but the Pasadena Humane Society is taking good care of them and showering them with love until they find a new place to call home.

The Fong family hoped to build a restaurant ingrained in Altadena and Pasadena. Now, much of that community is gone.

The evacuation center at the Pasadena Convention Center is likely to close by this weekend.
