Fans theorized that the “Tortured Poets Department” singer could be planning to finally release the highly-anticipated re-recordings of the popular albums.

Taylor Swift sent her fans into a frenzy on Friday morning when they noticed two of her albums appeared to have been removed from Spotify.

As a reminder, Taylor's been teasing Rep TV for years now and back in 2023 spoke about the album to TIME magazine, saying “It’s a goth-punk moment of female rage at being gaslit by an entire social structure. I think a lot of people see it and they’re just, like, sick snakes and strobe lights.”

Many of the singer's fans spoke out after the music streaming service Spotify unexpectedly dropped two of her re-recorded, "Taylor's Version" albums. Her debut album, "Taylor Swift," was missing from the service's catalog along with Swift's 2017 album, "Reputation."

Taylor Swift has been dominating the Billboard charts lately, from being crowned the Top Artist of the 21st Century to having one of the Top Albums of the 21st Century. Taylor Swift herself hasn’t explicitly confirmed "Reputation (Taylor’s Version)", but fans are convinced she’s been teasing it since 2022.

According to fans, Taylor Swift is ready to step into her Reputation era. Swifties noticed that both Reputation and her self-titled are no longer listed on the singer’s homepage on Spotify. The albums however have not been deleted from streaming.
