Little is known about Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming The Odyssey adaptation, but according to a new report, the film will be his priciest venture to date. In a recent TheInSneider report from Jeff Sneider,

Universal Pictures' social media confirmed that Christopher Nolan’s is working on an adaptation of "The Odyssey" that will bring "Homer’s foundational Saga to IMAX film screens for the first time."

Nolan is also behind epic films including “Inception,” “The Dark Knight,” “Dunkirk” and his most recent film “Oppenheimer,” which scored big at last year’s Oscars when it took home the trophy for best picture. Nolan won that award as a producer, and also took home the Academy Award for best director.

Universal Pictures has announced that Christopher Nolan’s next movie will be The Odyssey, a “mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX film technology” which will arrive in theatres on July 17,
