House History - Leverett House
Leverett has the largest student body of all of the Harvard Houses. Leverett House was named after John Leverett, who was President of Harvard from 1708 to 1724. Leverett's election was one of the significant turning points for Harvard, as every President before him had been a clergyman.

Hello Leverett! As your Resident Dean, I am here to support your academic and personal well-being and to help you navigate Harvard’s numerous resources. I also represent Leverett students at the Administrative Board, which hears petitions for academic exceptions and handles disciplinary cases.
Resident Dean's Office - Leverett House
The Resident Dean’s Office includes Leverett’s Allston Burr Resident Dean (John), and Leverett’s Academic Coordinator (Kim) and is located in F Tower on the first floor. (As you enter the building through the glass doors of F-tower, the office is the first door on your right).

History of Music at Leverett | Leverett House
Music was especially big at Leverett House which had its own FM Radio Station (World Wide Leverett Philharmonic: WLP) broadcasting music from a 5,000 disc collection. In fall 1940, Leverett partnered with NBC and WBZ Radio for a live, midnight broadcast from the Dining Hall of a dance that followed the Dartmouth football game.

Leverett House offers a variety of spaces for residents to host meetings, study sessions, or events. From intimate gatherings in the Private Dining Room to larger activities in the Library Theater, there’s a space to suit your needs.
