Micro Center competes very nicely against your traditional pre-built gaming desktop companies like Alienware, Origin, iBUYPOWER, CyperPower, etc. because it offers parts for cheaper, with more customization options, and same-day building if you choose to have it done for you (or you can save $150 and build it yourself).

Drove a couple of hours to the early access opening of the new Micro Center in Charlotte. I was there about 20 minutes before the doors opened. There seemed to be about 40-50 people waiting in line with me. I had my parts list saved on my phone. The Micro Center in Charlotte is opening on June 7th. For those that don't know, it's a computer hardware and technology store that has pretty good service and prices. And even though NC is #9 in the Union by population... the nearest one was like in Atlanta or the DC metro area.

It is better to take a bundle with the R7 7800X3D + a motherboard + 32gb of ram for 500 bucks.
