Mar 19, 2024 · Hi folks. Im a recent buyer of an old 2002 Dodge ram 1500, quad cab. The bed appears to be 80" long. Its a 4wd model and the engine air intake says "Dodge Magnum Hemi 5.7L V8". Front and rear axles have 8 lug wheels. Stickers on the bodywork say SLT and Hemi. Mopar decoder says 45RFE...

Aug 30, 2005 · nope Ford and Chevy (and others) used 8 on 6.5" back in the days, and I think Chevy still does. BUT, I know Ford changed some time in the 90s to 8 lug with a metric diameter bolt circle, not compatible.

Nov 26, 2001 · The '99 & up Ford "SuperDuty" trucks have an 8 on 170mm pattern as opposed to the old 8 on 6.5" pattern used previously (and still used by GM & Dodge). Late GM trucks also require "hub centric" wheels, though the lug pattern is the same as before.

Apr 5, 2004 · MRT makes both bead lock and regular wheels. I run 15x7 beadlocks that are actually like a 15x8, 8 lug of course, with 4'' backspacing. I run stock Chevy 60 brakes in front and 1/2 Chevy brakes in back. I had to grind alot on the front and alittle out back. No big deal. The wheels are quality. My second set from these guys. Feb 7, 2019 · Morning Men, Quick Question - Considering a set of 8 Lug Chevy Rims for my 2003 Ram 2500. Not sure if 8-Lug means 8-Lug everywhere...Hoping the bolt pattern will match up but I am not sure. Any insight if 8-lug Chevrolet rims will fit on 8 - lug dodge applications. Thanks

Nov 2, 2014 · Oh, the wheels will fit over the studs, sort of. But if you look really close before you put the lug nuts on, they do NOT line up well. You can even run the lug nuts on and tighten them down. Will pull all the studs crooked. If you are lucky, none will break. Yet. A buddy's kid, been there, done that.

Nov 5, 2018 · 2. Lug & nut thread pitch - There was a change between the 3rd gen & 4th gen production. 3. Lug nut shoulder - You'll want your truck's lug nuts to insure they fit the lug thread. You may have to find some with a round or tapered end to fit the different wheels depending on which ones you get.

Jun 15, 2006 · If you know that Dodge 8 lug wheels fit your trailer there should be no problem. Where I have seen a problem on the pickups is where somebody has a '99 or earlier truck that came with 16" chrome wheels and wanted to put the 16" alloy wheels from a 2000-2002.

Feb 14, 2007 · Here is an adaptor i came up with to allow use of 8-lug wheels on a rockwell axle. The center spindle on a rockwell hub is about 6"-6.125" across and 1.25" tall to the top of the spindle bolts. the jpiece that extends higher is small enough in diameter that a statndard wheel would be able to accomodate it.
