Wireless Beats headphones not recognized as audio output
Jul 20, 2023 · My Beats Studio 3 headphones can connect via bluetooth to my Windows 11 laptop (HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 Laptop 15-ew0xxx), but I cannot select them as an audio output. These headphones work perfectly fine on other devices, and my computer can connect to and play audio from other bluetooth headphones.
Beats X pair successfully with Windows 10 but no sound

However when I go to play music or videos, no sound comes out of the earbuds. When I select the playback device, there are two Beats options: Headphones (Beats X Stereo) Headset (Beats X Hands Free)

However, I am unable to connect either of my headphones, the Beats Studio3 Wireless, nor the PowerBeats3 Wireless. They do not even appear as discoverable on my Windows device.

Feb 4, 2016 · Recently got some Beats Studio Wireless headphones. Connect fine to iPhone and macbook, however my dell laptop with windows 7, not so much. I can add it as a Bluetooth device no problem. It shows up in devices. However it doesn't appear in playback options for sound.

Dec 20, 2024 · Does anyone have this issue? When I turn on the Bluetooh settings and click: Add Device, I see my fit band on it but not my earbuds. So right now, it can't even detect the earbuds although the earbuds are right in front of the laptop. Other than this, my laptop is working fine except for battery problem (lasts as long as 2 mins without charging).

Dec 20, 2024 · So I have a pair of Clarium Bluetooth earbuds that work completely fine with any other device I use. My phone and my monitor use it completely fine. They used to work on my Surface Pro 7 too. But since I updated to windows 11, the earbuds stopped working. They can connect to the Bluetooth on the Surface Pro, but no audio comes out.

Jun 3, 2021 · It must be set to "Headphones (Beats Studio Buds Stereo) (Bluetooth)". Also for some reason the speaker and microphone only work if you set the mic to "Microphone (Realtek(R) Audio)". Your beats Studio Buds will not work if the mic is set to "Headset (Beats Studio Buds Hands-Free AG Audio) (Bluetooth)".
