They are in the database (and the Drupal view), but not accessible through Civi seemingly. Some data points: the relationship table has approximately 23,000 relationships.

Then you can set a hook_civicrm_postCommit for when a new membership is created and then use the API to check for the highest unique ID for that letter and set the new unique ID accordingly.

However, when we went to process some offline renewals, the pre-filled renewal price in the 'Renew Membership' pop-up window is showing the old prices.
