Jan 17, 2025 · A “family” farm operation in northern Missouri on a “reality” show. The McBee family, the father and 3 or 4 sons live a pretty extravagant lifestyle on the TV show. I can’t speak as to who Common Ground is, my guess is a farm management company. I have my opinion and some suspicions. There are members here that operate in that area.

Jan 29, 2025 · Family farm the fences got bad and I been working full time for ten years now. But wanting to get some cows for home place, but got to do some fencing first. But buying some heifers now will be expensive today, but I not ready yet so thinking next year and no sense worrying about that today.

Feb 2, 2025 · My family used to own it up to the 1930's but had to sell it. A close neighbor owns it now and I hope maybe someday I'll have the option to try to buy it. I never knew that my family even owned it until I found an old plat book from 1935 and it included not just 2 of the quarters that I know they owned, but a 3rd one connected on the other side.

Since then I have got a master's degree in Ag Engineering, passed the professional engineer's exam and spent about 15 years designing disks for a farm equipment manufacturer. Disks with 26 - 36" dia. blades have a pretty deep concavity.

Mar 26, 2024 · My family Lost everything fighting Indians and the drought in the 1870s. Restarted in the early 1900s. Somehow my grandparents had 7 kids and I was the grandson chosen to get kicked off the farm and sent to collage to fend for myself. Got out and bought a run down old feedlot close to my family’s ranch and rebuilt the set up one day at a time.
