This week, on Flaky pastry... we conclude the Pet Project slice! New character, say hi! Now, for news news. I've been skipping updates lately, and some of you have had worries! Let me reassure you all on one point: I'm doing great! Nothing terrible has befallen me - quite the opposite, in fact.

What is Flaky Pastry? I think most people already have an answer for that, but in this case, it's a webcomic. Formerly described as being about nothing in particular, it is more accurately about the unlikely adventures of three room mates: Marelle, Nitrine and Zintiel.

When you get there, you've only moved about ten meters, but it feels like you could have gotten lost at least three times. The seat behind the counter is occupied by a bored-looking man. You… know him. His handsome – if slightly flaky-looking – face and disheveled white hair are pretty unmistakable. "Hello, neighbour."

This week, on Flaky pastry... Life continues to happen! I thought I might do something for Flakyversary, but my own hesitancy combined with unforeseen events means I only post this preview for now.
