Apr 18, 2016 · The entire 04/05 GSXR 600/750 front end will drop right into the Gen 2 SV650 and as mentioned, the ignition locks will work should you decide to use it. The stock 04/05 GSXR rotor has only 8 rivets, not 10, so it will work fine. The stock GSXR sensor will also plug right into the stock SV harness after you extend the wiring to reach the plug.

Aug 24, 2019 · The classic GXSR front end for a Gen2 SV650 is the 04/05 GSXR 600 or 750 front end; they are the same forks. This is as close to a drop in/no mod fit as there is on the SV and it works very well. Stock fork springs were 0.85 and works well on the street.

Sep 28, 2009 · When cranked over in a turn with the GSXR front end, the bike tracks much truer and is less affected by bumps you encounter while turning. It just feels more SOLID. Take your time aquiring the GSXR parts. Do NOT buy the complete front end with wheel unless the cost is absolutely crazy low (say $500 complete).

Dec 10, 2017 · The GSXR front end is so much stiffer than the SV front end that it compromises feel somewhat and can cause front end chatter if you're pushing it anywhere near the limits of the bike. That said, there are some folks who prefer the feel of the GSXR front end, while there are others who prefer the feel of the SV front end with cartridges swapped in.
