Gumball Watterson (formerly Zach Tristopher Watterson) is the twelve-year-old, light blue male cat protagonist of The Amazing World of Gumball. He is part of a family of anthropomorphic animals consisting of two rabbits, two cats, and a goldfish.

The human is a minor character in The Amazing World of Gumball. He made his first appearance in "The Sweaters" as an audience member at the tennis match, and made a speaking role in "The Extras." The human is drawn and animated like old cartoons from the 70s and 80s.

In an alley, Gumball convinces Sal Left Thumb to mug people in the neighborhood with a bat, but beats up Gumball with the bat instead. With a finishing touch, Nicole drops a match on a trail of oil, setting it on fire and destroying several houses in the process.
