Jan 6, 2020 · Gwart had nothing to do with it. She was a plot device with a last name. There wasn't any "build up", either. She was always just supposed to be there to give Jared a few laugh lines and that was all her purpose was ever going to be to move the Jared/Richard plot forward.

Gwart was the creator of one of Peter’s many “compression plays” who got left out in the cold by Laurie when Pied Piper proved itself viable and survived Gavin’s lawsuit.
