Here are the facts. The column is wide enough for text to be wrapped. Other cells have no problem wrapping text. Shrink to fit is NOT on.

May 4, 2023 · Every time I edit a cell in the Office 365 web version having (alt+enter) inside, it automatically wraps text and makes the cell bigger, this is incredibly annoying and does not happen in the Desktop version or Google Sheets for that matter. It probably won't work, ie it will probably close the first file, but if it does, then you can use File open to open the second file. Wrap text does not appear to be an option in Excel mobile ...

The text gets too small with shrink to fit and too big when I reference cells with just wrap text on. It changes all the time so I want the text to always be the right size (as large as it can be with wrap text but still fitting all the text).

Most likely Excel will put "AB Sales" on the 1st line and "Department" on the 2nd line. I want to add a button for the Format\\Cells\\Alignment\\Wrap Text option, but cannot find the button in the Customize Toolbars to add it. Does one exist? Is my only option to create a keyboard shortcut
