Can someone explain to me what happened to Audrey in The Return. More specifically the scene when she finishes dancing in The Roadhouse and it cuts to her in a white room with a mirror. I assumed it was a mental hospital, but with it being Twin Peaks I know it's not that simple. If someone could clear this up for me, I would be most appreciative.

Audrey looks a bit like Lady Dido and Charlie seems to be the polar opposite of The Fireman, stature-wise. The Fireman and Lady Dido are responsible for creating stories that play out in Twin Peaks. Audrey and Charlie are lesser beings and therefore the story they try to create fails.

Jan 6, 2018 · It doesn't really matter what Audrey's original purpose was. Josie was originally intended to be his love interest and that didn't mean anything in the end. Audrey was a major part of Twin Peaks being such a hit, and if it wasn't for off-screen drama she would've been way more important. That's precisely my problem.
