Sep 19, 2024 · A record-breaking roller coaster called Siren’s Curse will open early summer 2025 at the Ohio amusement park Cedar Point.

Siren's Curse is an upcoming steel roller coaster at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. The Tilt Coaster model, manufactured by Vekoma, is planned to open in early summer 2025. [1]

Construction crews, using a large crane, lifted the signature "tilt" track piece of the park's new Siren's Curse roller coaster into place. The 61-foot-long track piece weighs some 45 tons.

As the riders slowly climb, a massive seesaw looms in the distance. They stop on a dead-end track, hanging on the edge of the abyss. The huge track tilts. Riders in the front tip down. Riders in the back lift to 45 meters high. Get ready, and… drop!
