Salisbury Beach State Reservation campground has about 484 campsites and is located where the Merimack River enters the Atlantic Ocean. Almost 400 sites have electric hookups and 42 sites are tent only. Group camping is also available. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. The campground/park is open year round.

The campground is just a short walk of a few minutes to the state beach and is also adjacent to the Merrimack River. It is one of only a handful of beach campgrounds in the state. The regular camping season is from early May to mid-October.
