Why do people hate Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You”
The song itself is fine, but I don't need to start hearing it in October/early November. If Christmas would stay in its lane, I wouldn't be so annoyed with the song or any other Christmas songs, but the Christmas season keeps shifting earlier and earlier and it's too much. By the time Christmas actually comes around, I'm burned out on it.

First, it helps that "All I Want For Christmas Is You" has a timeless sound to it. It doesn't sound dated. But the obvious detail is that it's seasonal.
