The quest that you have involves getting the T3 model.

Jul 17, 2003 · Each time you kill a type...droid, another will spawn from that chute. you need to find out how many special spikes you need, then kill that many droids (of that type) and use their spikes located in a container next to that droid spawning point.that should destroy that specific chute. then do that to the other chutes to pwn those droids.

Has anyone ever found the tank droid on telos difficult?
I don't know how the game handles a situation where some of your characters are levelled up and others aren't in relation to pitching the strength of the enemies you face. I'm rambling on and odd battles in KotOR 2 can be hard anyway, even if the game as a whole isn't that hard.

If you want to rebuild HK-47, you will have to reload an older save. The battle is very easy, just equip the Renewable Shield and the Droid Shock Arm, activate the shield as you approach the HK-50s, then attack them with the Shock Arm (they die in two turns each and seldom come close to breaking down your shield).
