The City Rescue Mission of Lansing is a 501(c)3, Christian ministry founded in and still serving Michigan's capital area. Every year, thousands of women, children, and men find refuge and rescue thanks to the compassion of our community.
Numbers throughout the Mission have been high, with the women and children’s shelter averaging more than 100 guests every night for a month. Below is a note of thanks from one of the moms who have been helped during challenging times, through your compassion.
The City Rescue Mission of Lansing was founded in 1911 as a Christian ministry that first meets spiritual needs. While we provide for physical needs for those coming to the Mission for services, we do ask guests to attend a brief, non-denominational, Christian chapel service.
