We are accepting online applications for the position of full-time Vermont State Trooper. You must have submitted an application online and sent in your supporting documents before you can test. If you have not received a confirmation email, that means you are not on our roster.
Pay and Benefits | Vermont State Police
Pay and Benefits. Effective July 2024, the salary for a newly hired trooper is $71,108.30. After six months, the salary increases to $74,672.50 and with the completion of probation at the end of the first year, the salary will be $77,634.30.
