This E-4B Nightwatch was spotted with its skin covered in a green zinc chromate coating, a surface protection treatment to prevent the Aluminum Alloy fuselage from getting affected by corrosion. The Boeing 747-200-based E-4Bs ‘doomsday planes’ are designed to serve as secure flying command posts for the US President and other senior military officials during times of crisis including nuclear strikes. 📹
