Called Akimori, this new Omakase spot on the Upper East Side is an intimate Omakase bar with incredible high-end sushi. Chefs here make each piece in front of you, with a menu of sushi that changes daily. I loved the 18 course Omakase, and the Toro Crispy Rice was really special. They also have a lounge area with Table Omakase and for lunch they’ll have lunch specials ($14+). Highly recommend if you like good sushi!

This chic spot is located in a beautiful courtyard on King David Street in Jerusalem, located a minute from the Mamilla, Waldorf, and David Citadel hotels. The place is impressive and chic, and includes a covered outdoor terrace and a cigar room inside. Our favorites were the fish cigars with caramelized onions and the Jerusalem artichoke (also called a sunchocke) served with cashew labneh and zaatar. The win
